It's May Day, so many in Los Angeles are anticipating/bracing for four protest marches to convene in downtown LA today. The general motto around the country is "No work, no school, don't bank, don't buy." Some protests have turned sour, like in San Francisco, and as I type this I hear (perhaps by coincidence) sirens whizzing by the office window. And traffic around LA is expected to be particularly lame today, no surprise there.
Hopefully everyone will get to release their frustrations without too much of a hassle or any violence. An important fighting philosophy to keep in mind is adaptation--go with the flow, like water, through and around your opponent(s).
